Sylvia Falls

One of my favourite waterfalls in the Blue Mountains is Sylvia Falls, deep down in the Valley of the Waters. The walk down into the valley (and of course, back up) is very steep with many stairs but is well worth the effort. Overcast or misty days work best for photographing these falls when light is relatively low. The effort in capturing it on this occasion was rewarded with being voted Photo of the Week recently at Steve Parish’s Photograph Australia website.
