Great news with my panoramic image of Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge recently selected as a Photo of the Week winner at Steve Parish’s Photograph Australia website.
This was a long exposure (30 seconds) shot at night from down near Mrs Macquaries Point. This is a popular and ideal location to produce a “postcard” shot of Sydney. Facing west it is perfect for sunsets and night shots similar to this one.

That is very impressive pano. The colour is just stunning!

Thanks roentarre. I’ve seen plenty of photographs from this location but this was one of those nights where the colour seemed a bit different. It was such a deep blue about an hour or so after sunset and I think that really comes across in the shot.
