A few months ago there was a posting on the redbubble website calling for landscape photographers to donate an image for a charity calendar for the Kids Cancer Support Foundation. Having a child of my own and a family affected by cancer I was more than happy to help and sent off the details of my redbubble gallery. Considering the quality of some of the photographs I’ve seen there I didn’t think I’d really hear back from them.

A month or so later I got an email from them advising they had chosen not one, but four of my images to be included in the calendar!

This week I received a copy of it, and there I am for March, May, July and December. The May image of the Opera House even made it on to the front cover. Sure it may not be paid work, but it’s for a terrific cause and it’s pretty cool to think that for four months out of next year someone will be looking at one of my photographs.
